D-Link DIR-825 R1 Devices Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (CVE-2020-29557)
D-Link DIR-825 R1 devices contain a buffer overflow vulnerability in the web interface that may allow for remote code execution.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2022-05-03 under CISA BOD 22-01.

A buffer overflow in the web interface allows attackers to achieve pre-authentication remote code execution. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, no authentication required, and no user interaction required.
