Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) and MobileIron Core Authentication Bypass Vulnerability (CVE-2023-35082)
Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) and MobileIron Core contain an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to access restricted functionality or resources of the application.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. CISA has confirmed use of this vulnerability in known ransomware campaigns — treat as high priority for remediation. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2024-02-08 under CISA BOD 22-01.

An authentication bypass vulnerability in Ivanti EPMM 11.10 and older, allows unauthorized users to access restricted functionality or resources of the application without proper authentication. This vulnerability is unique to CVE-2023-35078 announced earlier. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, no authentication required, and no user interaction required.
