Kentico Xperience CMS Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel Vulnerability (CVE-2025-2747)
Kentico Xperience CMS contains an authentication bypass using an alternate path or channel vulnerability that could allow an attacker to control administrative objects.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2025-11-10 under CISA BOD 22-01.
This is a Authentication Bypass (CWE-288) vulnerability in Kentico Xperience CMS. An authentication bypass vulnerability in Kentico Xperience allows authentication bypass via the Staging Sync Server component password handling for the server defined None type. Authentication bypass allows an attacker to control administrative objects.This issue affects Xperience through 13.0.178. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, no authentication required, and no user interaction required.
