KB5039211: Windows Server Security Update (August 2024)
Microsoft Windows SmartScreen contains a security feature bypass vulnerability that allows an attacker to bypass the SmartScreen user experience via a malicious file.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve partial data exposure, arbitrary modification of data. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2024-09-03 under CISA BOD 22-01.
