Novi Survey Insecure Deserialization Vulnerability
Novi Survey contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute code on the server in the context of the service account.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2023-05-04 under CISA BOD 22-01.
This is a Code Injection (CWE-94) vulnerability in Novi Survey Novi Survey. Novi Survey before 8.9.43676 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server in the context of the service account. This does not provide access to stored survey or response data. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, no authentication required, and no user interaction required.
