Progress Telerik Report Server Authentication Bypass by Spoofing Vulnerability
Progress Telerik Report Server contains an authorization bypass by spoofing vulnerability that allows an attacker to obtain unauthorized access.
A remote attacker, without authentication, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2024-07-04 under CISA BOD 22-01.
This is a Software Vulnerability (CWE-290) (CWE-290) vulnerability in Progress Telerik Report Server. In Progress Telerik Report Server, version 2024 Q1 (10.0.24.305) or earlier, on IIS, an unauthenticated attacker can gain access to Telerik Report Server restricted functionality via an authentication bypass vulnerability. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, no authentication required, and no user interaction required.
