Trend Micro Multiple Products Content Validation Escape Vulnerability
Trend Micro Apex One, OfficeScan, and Worry-Free Business Security agents contain a content validation escape vulnerability that could allow an attacker to manipulate certain agent client components.
A remote attacker, with a low-privilege account, can achieve full data confidentiality loss, arbitrary modification of data, complete denial of service or system unavailability. Federal agencies are required to remediate by 2022-05-03 under CISA BOD 22-01.

Trend Micro Apex One (2019), OfficeScan XG and Worry-Free Business Security (9.0, 9.5, 10.0) agents are affected by a content validation escape vulnerability which could allow an attacker to manipulate certain agent client components. An attempted attack requires user authentication. Exploitation requires remote network access, low attack complexity, a low-privilege authenticated account, and no user interaction required.
